‘I Have Never Been So Happy In My Entire Life’: Tragic Couple’s Facebook Post One Year Before Train Jump


Melissa Wood, 27, and Christopher Linley, 34, died at Doncaster railway station, South Yorks., on Tuesday evening. They died after the horrific incident at Doncaster railway station in South Yorkshire.

The couple entered the station at 6.46pm and CCTV shows they spent more than an hour and a half moving between platforms and waiting rooms.


At 8.23pm they were fatally struck by a train.

A witness told the Doncaster Free Press, the pair jumped in front of the train at the same time in while hugging.

British Transport Police are investigating and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The deaths are not being treated as suspicious.
